Privacy policy

This privacy policy describes how SPLAT GLOBAL LLC, registered at: 174350, Novgorod Region, Okulovsky District, territory of the 2nd km of the Okulovka–Kulotino motorway, building 1, structure 2, premises 19 (hereinafter – SPLAT), processes personal data collected from you while you visit and use the services of the websites or mobile applications (hereinafter – the SERVICE) owned and operated by SPLAT.

Personal data in this document means data about a user of the SERVICE on the basis of which they can be directly or indirectly identified.

Processing of personal data in this document means the following operations with data: collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, modification, retrieval, use, transfer, dissemination, blocking, destruction.

Registration and use of our products and services

SPLAT processes personal data provided by you yourself for the purposes of registering to receive the newsletter, providing feedback to you in the event of an electronic enquiry sent to us, maintaining an information profile of your activities and history of using the SERVICE, including participation in the SPLAT Friends and Diagnostics loyalty programmes, managing orders in the online store and delivering orders, and participation in promotional campaigns.

For the purposes indicated above and strictly in accordance with the declared rules of each individual case of processing, the personal data collected may be your first name, surname, patronymic, gender, age, whether you have children, e-mail address, mobile phone number, Telegram contact, your consumer preferences and attitude to ecology, order information, order delivery address, country and city of residence, and, in cases related to receiving winnings and prizes, also your taxpayer number (INN), date of birth, registration address and passport details. When you participate in the Diagnostics programme, SPLAT will process such data of yours as height, weight, age, indicators of oral hygiene condition, including acidity, hardness, photographs of teeth, the risk of developing inflammation and caries; and certain indicators of the clinical composition of the blood, such as, for example, leukocytes and haemoglobin.

If you register, SPLAT may also contact you regarding your opinion of SPLAT products and services.

SPLAT uses the personal contact data provided to inform you about additional SPLAT products and services. You may also subscribe to the newsletter separately. At the same time, you have the opportunity to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any moment by following the link placed in the electronic information letter.

Data collected from third-party sources

In order to provide you with information about products and services, we may also collect personal data about you, for example, from a third party – a supplier of SPLAT products, from advertisers’ services (with which you interact), or when you register on the SERVICE using a social network account.

In this case SPLAT guarantees that all data received from the third party has been collected and transferred on a lawful basis, with all consents necessary for such cases obtained.

Automatic data collection

In order to ensure the effectiveness of the web service provided, SPLAT automatically collects and stores certain information using cookies – small files loaded onto your computer that help improve the performance of the SITE and provide personalised browsing options.

The SERVICE website uses the following categories of cookies in order to maintain our user base, attract new visitors and inform users about the services provided by SPLAT: functional cookies – necessary for the functioning of the website, they contain no information of a personal nature and cannot be disabled; performance cookies – they improve the performance of the site and the convenience of its use by the visitor; and analytical cookies – set by our partners to create a profile of the site visitor’s potential interests in order to deliver relevant information content.

Cookies may use the following data:

  • The Internet domain and IP address from which you access the SERVICE;
  • The date and time of your visit to the SERVICE website;
  • The addresses of the pages viewed on the SERVICE website;
  • The addresses of the pages you shared on social networks;
  • If you came to the SERVICE website from another web resource, the address of that resource;
  • Search parameters, if you came to the SERVICE website from a search engine.

    Access to personal data

    Personal data may, for the purposes described in this policy and by the declared methods of processing, be transferred to legal entities that are part of the SPLAT Group of Companies, including SPLAT ONLINE LLC, which is the e-commerce operator of the SERVICE.

    In certain cases, for the purposes described above, personal data may be made available to third-party organisations providing services for the promotion of our products, the organisation of customer service, and to payment service providers. SPLAT guarantees that the third party will ensure the confidentiality and security of personal information.

    The aggregator of the payment (acquiring) service of the SERVICE is exclusively CLOUDPAYMENTS LLC (cloudpayments.ru). Customers’ bank card details are not stored or processed by the SERVICE in any form.

    SPLAT may disclose your personal data in the cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

    Terms of storage of personal data

    We strive to ensure that the period of processing and storage of your personal data is the shortest possible while still achieving the stated purposes of such processing. In the absence of specific storage periods indicated in this policy, your personal data will be stored only for as long as we need it to achieve the purpose for which we collected it and, where applicable, for as long as required in accordance with the retention requirements established by law.

    In cases involving enquiries to SPLAT, your contact details are stored for as long as the enquiry is being processed and for six months after its completion.

    If you are subscribed to the newsletter, your contact details will be stored until you unsubscribe from the mailing list. Personal data from registration in the customer account will be stored until you close or delete your personal account profile, or upon the expiry of 3 years from your last activity as a customer. Information about purchases made, including the relevant personal data, is stored, in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation, for five years.

    The personal data of a participant in a promotional campaign or in the SPLAT Friends loyalty programme is processed until the moment you leave the programme or campaign, or until the programme or campaign is completed. An exception to this rule are participants of the programme or campaign who are already registered and have their own profile in the customer account. In this case the data is stored in accordance with the terms of personal data processing in the customer account.

    Personal data relating to the Diagnostics programme is processed only during the period of your participation in the programme. Upon leaving the programme, all personal data is destroyed immediately.

    All collected personal data is stored on the territory of the Russian Federation; cross-border data transfer is not carried out.

    Security

    SPLAT takes the secure processing of the personal data collected seriously. SPLAT uses best cyber-protection practices (Anti DDoS, WAF, SDLC) and is guided by internal information security policies.

    Rights of the personal data subject

    At any moment you have the right to request from SPLAT information about which of your personal data SPLAT processes, to demand its correction, the cessation of further processing, or the deletion of such data. SPLAT may delete your personal data only in the absence of a legally established obligation to store it. Send such requests to the e-mail address privacy@splatglobal.com, indicating in the letter which information the request relates to and in what format you would like to receive this information. SPLAT will process such requests within 10 days from the moment of receipt.

    Revision of the policy

    SPLAT has the right to change and update this privacy policy. Changes take effect after they are published on the SERVICE’s resources.
